CAT 2013 31st OCTOBER ANALYSIS - MORNING SLOTS

DAY 13 - CAT 2013

Overall Quants was on higher side, DI was simple and doable, one RC was lengthy and consisted of close options which made it quite tough to attempt. The most important key point of this section was time management. Candidates who wasted time on difficult questions ended up wasting their time and were not even able to have a look at all the questions of their question set.

No Question of Probability, Ratio, Proportion, Variation, Time and Work, Averages

3 Data Interpretation Case Lets containing questions involving intense calculations.

Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning


3 Reading Comprehension Passages of moderate difficulty level. The toughest point in handling these RC Case lets was their being of Philosophical topics. This year's CAT has now started being known for presenting Philosophical and Spiritual RC's 

9 Questions of Logical Reasoning of moderate difficulty level.

12 Questions of Verbal Ability -

2 Para jumbles
2 Last Sentence of Paragraph
3 Para Completion
3 grammar question

All were of moderate difficulty level.
