Food Corporation of India Assistant Grade 3 Results of Phase 2 is out now and Staff Selection Commission has dispatched Admit Cards for the CPT - Computer Proficiency Test which is of a qualifying nature. Here we will talk regarding how you need to prepare for the Computer Proficiency Test of Food Corporation Of India Assistant Grade 3 Examination.
Word Processing Test comprising of 2000 Key Depressions which is approximately 400 words to be completed in 15 minutes.
In this test you will get a notepad type of Window in which you have to type a paragraph that will be provided to you in the examination hall by the instructor. The paragraph would be of a simple type and by saying key depressions we mean to say that every time you hit any key it will counted as a key depression - Of course your typing and erasing of errors will not be accounted as key depressions. The paragraph given to you will be such that it will consist of text that will need 2000 key depressions to make.
You can practice for this test at your home in your computer notepad. Take any paragraph from a newspaper and start typing it. If you are able to type around 350 full words without errors in 15 minutes you can be sure that you will easily clear your real CPT Module 1.Obviously the average number of alphabets per word should be more than 5.
Module - 2 of Computer Proficiency test of Food Corporation Of India Assistant Grade 3 Examination -
Test in Spreadsheets of Microsoft Excel to be prepared in 15 minutes.
In this test you may be given a sheet full of arithmetic data which you may need to enter in the Spreadsheet of Microsoft Excel. We can not say that the sheet will be easy or difficult. Because if you are regular at using Microsoft Excel than this test will be easy for you but if you are not in the habit of using Excel frequently than you may face some difficulties during the paper.
