1. Its is an international standard related to quality management system, applicable to any organization from all types of business sectors and activities.

2. Provides guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer’s requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.

3.To seek continuous performance improvement for all organizations.

Eligibility for ISO 9001:2008

To meet the requirements for the ISO 9001:2008 certification, an organization should demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet applicable regulatory requirements and continue to meet changing expectations of customers.

# MoU signed between Diplomatic Institute of Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Service Institute to promote bilateral cooperation between the 2 institutes.

# Joint Committee for Technical and Economic Cooperation which was established in 1981 to be replaced by high level Joint Commission.
