Chera Kingdom Administration and Rulers Audio Lecture

In this audio we will discuss about the chera kingdom of the medieval history of India. The meaning of the words like Keralaputra, Satyaputra have been explained and it can be inferred that the present day name of Kerala has been derived from the word Keralaputra. Insignia of the Chera rulers has also been talked about in this audio. Their insignia was BOW AND ARROW. Details of the first chera king Uthiyan Cheralathan and their second king Imayavaramban Nedum Cheralathan have also told about in this audio. Also at the end some details about the starting Chola Empire has been told. Chola Empire was also known by the name of Cholamandalam. They were broadly divided under three categories - Early Chola, Dark Period of Cholas then came medieval cholas and finally later Cholas. Karikala Chola who was the ruler of the early chola period have been talked about in this audio. Details of rulers like Vijayalaya Chola, Parantaka Chola, Aditya Chola, Rajaraja Chola, Rajendra Chola has been talked about. Their trade relations with China has been talked about in this audio.
