Geometry Question Solving Part 1 Video for Beginners

Hello friends in this video I have solved some 16 questions of geometry in order to give you an idea about the type of questions that would be asked in your exams.

Question 1. What is the area of the triangle formed by the In centre, Centroid and Cir cum centre of an equilateral triangle whose side is of length 6 cm ?

Question 2. Find the area of the triangle formed by joining the midpoints of the side of the triangle of area 60 square cm.

Question 3. What is the Cir cum Radius of the triangle whose sides are 102.6 cm, 136.8 cm and 171 cm. ?

Question 4. If each side of the equilateral triangle is increased by 6 cm. the area of the triangle increases by 36 root 3 square cm. Find the altitude of the new triangle.

Question 5. An equilateral triangle of side 16 cm. has a circle inscribed in it. There is another equilateral triangle inscribed in the circle. Find the area of the inscribed triangle.

Question 6. In an right angled triangle ABC, if the length of the hypotenuse is AC = 24 cm. and D is the midpoint of AC, then what is the length of BD ?

Question 7. In a right angled triangle ABC, right angled at B, D is a point on AC such that BD is perpendicular to AC. What is the length of BD, if AD = 4 cm. and CD = 9 cm.

Question 8. Two poles of height 6 meter and 11 metre stand vertically upright on a plane ground. If the distance between their foot is 12 meter, find the distance between their tops.

Question 9. In a triangle ABC, point D is on side AB and point E is on side AC, such that BCED is a trapezium. DE:BC = 3:5 .  Calculate the ratio of area of triangle ADE and trapezium BCED.

Question 10. A ladder reaches a window that is 8 cm above the ground on one side of the street. Keeping its foot on the same point the ladder is twined to the other side of the street to reach a window 12 cm high. Find the width of the street if the ladder is 13 cm. high.

Question 11. Questions discussed in Video......

Question 12. One of the diagonals of a rhombus whose area is 24 square cm is 6 cm in length. What is the length of the side of the rhombus ?

Question 13. The price of a mirror is proportional to the square of its area. A large mirror was cut into four pieces whose areas were in the ratio 1:2:3:4  .  The total price obtained by selling the four pieces was Rs. 210 less than the price of the uncut large mirror. The price of the uncut large mirror in Rs. was

Question 14. A chord of length 10 cm subtends an angle of 120 degree at the center of a circle. Calculate maximum distance between the midpoint of such a chord and the midpoint of another chord that subtends 90 degrees at the centre of the circle.

Question 15. There are two concentric circles. A particular chord of the larger circle is also tangent to the smaller circle. If the length of the chord happens to be 6 cm, find the difference in the radii of the two circles if both the radii are integral multiple of a cm

Question 16. The exterior angle of a regular polygon is one third of its interior angle. How many sides does the polygon have ?
